Since 1998, EKTA Has Been A Lifeline For Vulnerable South Asian Elders, Offering Essential Services And Fostering A Sense Of Community For Those At Risk Of Isolation. Our Mission Is To Create A Safe & Welcoming Space Where Elders Can Connect, Share Experiences, And Thrive.
01
Every week members attend our Live Group' Meetups, in Newham East London. For social activities, engaging discussions, and shared meals. These meetups are designed to combat loneliness and build lasting friendships.
02
From cultural celebrations to day trips and workshops, we organize special events that bring joy and enrichment to the lives of our community members.
03
We also offer wellness programs that focus on physical and mental health, including yoga, meditation, and health workshops tailored to the needs of our members. AND will soon relaunch our Befriending Outreach Service
Our critical services are powered by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers who tirelessly work to make a difference. However, none of this would be possible without the generous contributions from individuals and organisations who share our vision.
